Practice Plan
Practice Plan is the second module of Baseball Playmaker. It will let a staff pick the situations the team needs to work on, string them into a practice with reps and timing, and share the same plan with every coach on the field.
What it builds on
- Every situation in Game Situations becomes a block you can drop into a practice.
- Learn reuses the same plays for quiz-style reps, so what the kids study on their phones matches what the coaches teach.
- One shared plan keeps the whole staff on the same page.

Game Situations
A defensive playbook for Little League and high school select coaches, players, and anyone who wants to understand where all nine fielders go when the ball is in play. Every situation: singles, doubles, and bunts with no runners, a runner on first, a runner on second, and runners on first and second.
On the field
- Pick the runners and where the ball went, and the diagram runs the whole play: the pitch, contact, every fielder's route, the runners, and every throw. Tap Play to run it again, or jump to Field, Relay, or Assess.
- Tap any player on the field, a position chip, or a row in the list to focus on one position. Their full responsibility opens up; the others dim.
- On a phone, tap the play title or the handle at the bottom to open the situation sheet; Show the play closes it and runs the play.
Reading the diagram
- Faint arrows show where each fielder moves from his starting ring. The gold line is a throw; the dotted line is a backdoor or option throw. A gold ring on a player means he has the ball or the ball is coming to him. A gold ring on a base is the man with the ball checking that runner.
- Relay depth always depends on the outfielder's arm strength. Teach the shape of the play first, then adjust the distances to your players.
- The infield is drawn to scale for a 90-foot diamond: rubber 60'6" from the apex of home plate, an 18-foot mound centered at 59 feet, the infield arc 95 feet from the rubber, 13-foot cutouts at the bases and home, and a 3-foot runner's lane on the last half of the first-base line. First and third base sit entirely in fair territory with their outside corners on the foul line. Bases and plate are enlarged for readability, and the fence is drawn at 300 feet with a 12-foot warning track so the infield stays legible on a phone.
